Andy File Associates Limited is working as a Recruitment Agency on behalf of our client for this permanent position
The Technical Business Consultant (TBC) is a business‑focused, client‑facing role accountable for helping clients make better business decisions enabled by technology.
The Technical Business Consultant (TBC) is as a trusted advisor to a defined client set, bringing strong commercial awareness, deep listening skills, and the ability to ask the right questions to uncover what the client truly needs—often beyond what they initially articulate. This role is client‑centric, consultative, and autonomous, working directly with clients to understand their business objectives and translate those into clear, practical, and forward‑looking technology strategies. This role works closely with clients to understand their organisation, goals, pressures, and constraints, then guides them on how technology can support those goals across the short, medium, and long term.
While technology knowledge is required, the role is not deeply technical; its strength lies in commercial awareness, structured thinking, listening, questioning, and insight.
