Andy File Associates Ltd are working as a Recruitment Business on behalf of our client to recruit a Systems Development Assistant for a temporary 8–12 week assignment.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone starting their career in IT. Whether you're a school leaver with strong IT skills, a college student, university student, recent graduate or simply passionate about technology, we'd love to hear from you.
You'll work alongside an experienced team, helping to improve the company's software systems by creating digital forms, workflows and simple business processes. Full training will be provided on the software used, so no previous experience is required.
What You'll Be Doing
- Learning how to use the company's business software (EHSWise).
- Creating online forms and simple digital workflows.
- Helping to improve the way the business works through technology.
- Speaking with colleagues to understand how their processes work.
- Testing new workflows to make sure everything works correctly.
- Updating reports and dashboards.
- Helping to write simple user guides where needed.
- Recording project progress and suggesting ideas for improvements.
What We're Looking For
- A keen interest in IT, technology or software.
- Good computer skills and confidence using Microsoft Office.
- Enjoys solving problems and learning new systems.
- Good attention to detail.
- Able to work well independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills.

Contract Details
