Our client is a large OEM distributor based Sheffield area and a vacancy has become available in their Purchasing Department
PURCHASING ADMINISTRATOR
Responsibilities
- Support Purchasing Supervisor/Manager
- Sourcing of parts/components
- Ensure on-time deliveries to meet customer requirement’s
- Reporting
- Daily monitoring of stock levels
- Place orders on suppliers
- Expediting
- Negotiating cost reductions
- Responsibilities as outlined in H&S Policy
Skills and experience required:
- Knowledge of SAP (HANA preferred)
- MCIPS Qualification preferred
- Excel skills
- Negotiation skills
- Languages – Italian or German an advantage
- Product knowledge in the hydraulics industry an advantage
Hours – 37.5 per week, Monday – Friday 8.30am – 5.00pm (1 hour lunch break)
Salary is negotiable and is dependant on candidates experience in line with the above job specification
23 days holiday per year plus statutory bank holidays
