Reporting to: Production Manager
The role:
Reporting to the production manager, you will be responsible for assisting the production manager with our production processes and managing our stock. This will entail undertaking oil profiling (using our products in oil), building and testing customer systems (including fault finding), managing the receipt of product from our manufacturer and checking quality, managing warehouse stock and processing, packing and dispatching orders to our customers globally.
Your specific responsibilities will include:
- Oil Profiling.
- Building and testing customer systems (standard and bespoke).
- Fault finding – Prior to despatch.
- Checking in all deliveries.
- Managing stock in the warehouse and reconciling stock takes.
- Preparing, packing and dispatching sales orders.
The successful candidate will possess the following skills, qualities and experience:
- Reliable with a straightforward, common sense can-do approach to work.
- Experience in a similar role.
- Ability to follow simple wiring schematic.
- Soldering skills preferable (ideally IPC610 certified).
- Numerate with experience of computer stock control and MRP systems.
Location: Dinnington, Sheffield, UK. Office Based.
Hours: Monday to Friday, 08.30am to 05.30pm.
40 hours pw can be of the following 08:00 - 16:30, 8:30 - 17:00 or 9 - 17:30. Half hour for lunch.
Salary: up to £30,000 pa depending on ability
