PACKING/KITTING OPERATIVE
Objective: To ensure that all products are packed & kitted in line with work instruction and company procedures.
Tasks
To pack & kit goods for stock and despatch to Production Order/Management/Supervisor instruction.
Adhere to quality procedure and process instructions (SOP – Standard Operating Procedure).
Follow production order process to ensure that goods are packed/Kitted to agreed specifications.
Confirm operation completion on company MRP system.
Place goods within the company system.
Understand customer schedule/requirements.
Work as part of a team.
Responsibilities as outlined in H&S policy
Follow company procedures always.
Actively look for improvement opportunities.
Bring forward C.I.P. board ideas.
Experience
Knowledge of automated and computerised system operation.
Familiar with safety practices and record keeping.
Physical ability to lift heavy packages and objects within H&S guidelines.
Able to operate a forklift and other materials handling equipment in tight and congested areas.
Basic computer knowledge
Hours:
Mon-Thurs: 8am-5pm (30 mins lunch break)
Friday: 8am-2.30pm (30 mins lunch break)/ 10 am - 5.00 pm on a rota system 1 in 3
Pay: £12.71ph
