Key Accountabilities
- Planned Preventative Maintenance tasks.
- Installation of new plant.
- Planning mechanical maintenance tasks for completion during the shutdown.
- Development and upgrading of existing equipment.
- Good knowledge of safety and permit to work systems.
- Reactive Maintenance.
Skills and Experience
Essential:
- 5 years’ experience in heavy forge environment.
- Good working knowledge of hydraulics (ideally Oilgear Towler).
- Mobile plant maintenance skills (manipulator, FLT and OHC).
- Pro-active and self-motivated personality.
- Ability to work under own initiative and as part of a team.
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail.
Desirable:
- Experience of break downs on the following types of equipment, Presses, hammers, lathes and borers.
Qualifications
Essential:
- Apprentice trained maintenance engineer with mechanical bias.
