Our client is a production facility based in Sheffield. This is a sought after role and an excellent opportunity for a candidate with the right level of experience.
HUMAN RESOURCES EXECUTIVE
Objective: Reporting to the HR Director to gain efficient and motivated employees and staff retention in Head Office (Sheffield). Continuously improve training and skills for a multi-tasking workforce. Monthly evaluation of staff, annual planning. Communication with all heads of department on best practice.
Tasks
Advising managers on employment matters
Policy: Continuously monitor and review HR policies and implement changes where necessary. Ensuring compliance with relevant laws, regulations.
Recruitment: From job descriptions to onboarding, the full process including building relationships with outside agencies where required.
Induction: Full induction including Health and Safety and E-Learning
Performance Management/Development: Conduct reviews with line managers and identify training needs addressing any concerns. Monitoring and maintenance of the training matrix.
Training Plan: Formulate training matrix and plans for the year and arrange external training where necessary to ensure a skilled workforce.
KPI: Provide the Board with KPI information as required.
Attendance Management:
Monthly monitoring of absence, carry out meetings with employee/manager as appropriate for exceeding trigger points.
Chairing Disciplinary, grievance and appeal hearings. Keep confidential records and assist employees with any issues, maintaining confidentiality at all times.
Assist with HR projects as and when requested
Assist with managing redundancy and re-structuring situations
Administration:
Oversee holiday records.
Attend Seminars: Regarding changes in employment law/best practice.
Essential Requirements for the role
Standard secondary school education
Ability to demonstrate a full range of generalist HR practice

37.5 hours per week Monday - Friday
Holidays: 23 days + 8 stats
Very competitive salary (entirely down to the experience/skill set of the candidate)
Office based - due to the nature of this role, the candidate is required to be based in the office
