Financial Expert Witness Report Writer |
Job Type: Full-time (37.5hrs)
Salary: £30,000 – £40,000 per year

Our client is ideally looking for applicants who have previous experience working in either medical, legal, pensions and/or financial services sectors who are good with mathematical calculations.
If you have a positive mindset, the ability to work to tight timescales under pressure whilst at the same time having strong attention to detail this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
Duties to include:
Self-manage workload
Support Expert Witness(es) with creation of high-quality Expert Witness Reports
Research pension schemes, tax rules and pensions regulations
Accurately draft, edit, format, and proofread financial loss documents
Use MS Excel to perform loss calculations
Creation and upkeep of earnings spreadsheets using data from payslips, P60s and other relevant documentation
Review and make notes on legal documents
Work to strict deadlines – communicating with the relevant Expert(s) to ensure that deadlines are managed and achieved
Updating and maintaining MS Excel spreadsheets and reports to ensure they remain in line with current tax rules and legislation changes
Communicate effectively with Expert Witness(es), Solicitor(s), and other team members in a professional and timely manner
Upload documents and ensure consistent maintenance of SharePoint folders
Raise invoices in line with completed work
Work as part of the larger team to ensure that business objectives are achieved
Desirable Skills:
Understanding of Pensions and Loss calculations
Accounts experience
Broad knowledge of multipliers and calculations
Having a good understanding of all Microsoft application such as Excel, Word and SharePoint
Understanding of law
An understanding of forensic accounts
Excellent written and verbal communications skills
