About the Role
Our client is seeking a reliable and customer-focused Delivery Driver to join their busy electrical wholesale team based in Sheffield. You will play a key role in ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of electrical products to trade customers across Sheffield and the surrounding Yorkshire and Lancashire regions.
This is a hands-on role that combines driving, warehouse support, and customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely deliver electrical goods to customers across Sheffield and nearby areas
- Load and unload company vehicles, ensuring items are secure and protected
- Check delivery notes against orders to ensure accuracy
- Obtain proof of delivery and handle any customer queries professionally
- Support warehouse operations, including picking, packing, and stock organisation
- Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects
- Keep the van clean and tidy with weekly cleans
- Maintain high standards of health and safety at all times
- Represent the company in a professional and courteous manner
Requirements
Essential:
- Full UK driving licence (maximum 6 penalty points)
- Good knowledge of Sheffield and surrounding areas
- Strong time management and organisational skills
- Physically fit and capable of lifting heavy items
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Good communication skills
Desirable:
- Previous experience in a delivery driver or warehouse role
- Experience within the electrical wholesale or trade supply industry
- Forklift licence (counterbalance/reach)

Working Hours
Typically Monday to Friday, 7:30am – 4:30pm (flexibility may be required depending on business needs, potential of an earlier start and finish).
