Andy File Associates Limited is working as a Recruitment Agency on behalf of our client with regards this permanent position.
This is an exciting chance to join a thriving business in Doncaster. Our client have experienced rapid growth, expanding to additional premises, and taking on new members of staff over all departments.
This role will cover all duties in the workshop electrical department. General upkeep of the working area and premises will also be required, to aid with the smooth running of the workshop and conversion of vehicles.
You will be required to be flexible, professional, have a keen eye for detail and to produce a high level of workmanship.
Understand and be able to fit various electrical systems that could include:
- Towbars.
- Beacons and internal lighting.
- Tail lifts, Alarms, Immobilisers, Tracking, Parking sensors, Split charge systems and Welfare heating, water and power systems.
- Research electrical faults.
- Repair and replace electrical items.
Additional requirements:
- Accuracy in all tasks and measurements.
- Flexible as the work can be varied.
- Have own basic hand tools and also be able to look after and care for any company tooling and equipment used.
- Effective communication and positive relations with employees at all levels within the organisation and external contacts including customers and suppliers.
- Be competent at working alone or as part of a team.
- Experience in a similar field would be of benefit but not necessary as in house training can be given.
- Integrity.
- Confidentiality regarding all processes, data and information contained and discussed in the department.
- Be aware of all Company policies and Health and Safety procedures and practices.

Salary – Is negotiable depending on experience from £28,000 up to £31,700 per annum. Good earning potential available.
Full-time – (4 days a week and 40 hours per week - 10 Hours per day between 6.30am-6pm), our standard hours are 6:30am to 5pm Monday to Thursday.
Time and half overtime for Fridays and Saturdays if available.
